Thai Yoga Massage Course

This practitioner course is recognised by professional association with the CMA (Complimentary Medical Association). It is both highly practical and goes in depth on a theoretical level into the art of Traditional Thai Yoga Massage. On completion, students will be able to confidently give a full body treatment and assist clients with specific conditions.

Course overview:

This is an intensive, hands on 90 hours course spread over four months. After twelve sessions you will need to complete thirty case studies within an additional six months to be able to take part in a final practical and theoretical assessment.

Learning consists of lectures and watching demonstrations followed by supervised practise. Students will be giving and receiving Thai massage sequences on each lesson. Elements of Meditation, Yoga, mindful touch and body awareness are an important aspect during training.

Smaller classes (up to 10 people) ensure more in depth attention is given to each individual member of the group.

By the end of the course, all students will need to have an Anatomy and Physiology diploma and hold a recognised certificate in order to get insurance to practise. If you are already a therapist please check if your current insurer will add Thai Yoga Massage to your list of therapies.
