Join us for Pilates and Yoga, plus many more mindful and stimulating classes,
held at Jungle Healing Studio, Crawley.
THURSDAY 26TH SEPTEMBER: 6-7 PM
A FREE sound bath meditation session offering a short introduction, a guided sound meditation, followed by a mini sound bath experience, and time for reflection at the end.
There are so many benefits to health and wellbeing that can be achieved with deep sound-based relaxation including reduced stress and anxiety, less muscle tension and physical pain as well as an increased sense of wellbeing and a positive mood-state.
Therapeutic sound baths using gongs, Himalayan singing bowls, chimes, drums and other percussion instruments are proven to relax the body and mind on a deeper level than other relaxation methods, and help to lower brainwaves so levels become similar to meditation or a state of deep sleep.
To ensure you will be comfortable and warm during the stiller moments of the session It is recommended that you bring a blanket and small cushion.
If you are epileptic, in the first trimester of pregnancy, have severe clinical mental health or metal implants, please advise at the time of booking so you can be contacted to discuss if the session would be right for you.
Places are offered on a first come first served basis. We have a maximum of 20 places so please do email: email@example.com prior to the event to confirm your attendance!
We look forward to seeing you there!

Who are these classes suitable for?
Our mat based Pilates classes are suitable for everyone, from complete beginners to intermediates. Options to progress or regress exercises are given. The contemporary approach to each class allows everyone to modify the original 34 mat Pilates exercises. This makes the method accessible for all to enjoy. Our teachers create sequences of exercises for beginners with a controlled manner. More dynamic, flowing and intense sequences are then created for the more experienced practitioner.
How can Pilates help?
Special attention is paid to the principles of Pilates, correct alignment and techniques. Pilates practice helps strengthen deep core muscles, improves posture and flexibility and relieves stress and tension in the body. Meditation has proven to be beneficial in many ways. For thousands of years meditation has been evolving and growing through several cultures. This has been particularly emphasised in the east. Vick has been practicing and teaching meditation for the last 25 years and has experience with various meditation techniques. He has been travelling and personally learning from many masters, and is an advanced practitioner.
How can Meditation help?
Meditation assists you in reducing stress, anxiety and uplifting the mood. It also helps with focus and concentration. Meditation has been known to unlock the hidden human potential and lead to personal development and growth on new levels. These are just some of the benefits that meditation has to offer. It’s no wonder that top business men and health gurus include meditation as a part of their daily practice.
What does each class involve?
Since everyone is different and meditates differently, in each class a different meditation technique is introduced. Therefore, this allows the meditator to experience different approaches. The classes are informative and interesting as there is so much variety. Classes can include simple relaxation techniques, general meditation and spiritual meditation.
Raja Yoga means ‘King of Yogas’ or ‘Royal Yoga’. This is because it is inclusive of all yoga forms – Hatha, Ashtanga, Karma, Kundalini and Bhakti – collectively called Raja Yoga.
What does each class involve?
In Raja Yoga classes you will experience a yoga workout and receive information on how to take yoga with you. This is so that you can incorporate the benefits of this practice in your own space to compliment your lifestyle. You will learn yogic exercise in the form of asana (seated/standing postures), strengthening/toning exercises, yoga sequences and pranayama breathing techniques. Furthermore, you will learn yogic lifestyle practices that help maintain a healthy mind and body balance and different meditation techniques. These are the real treasures of Yoga. Classes are suitable for mixed abilities, including beginners.
Vick has learnt yoga from many traditions across numerous years. He has been under the guidance of his own Gurus and teachers. Vick draws from his years of authentic and genuine practice so that classes become even more interesting. You will have the chance to learn the secrets of the Yogis that he has discovered on his journey.
Thai Yoga Massage Classes
What is Thai Yoga Massage?
Thai Yoga Massage – also known as Nuad Boran – is an Ancient healing art rooted in Buddhism. In this unique healing system of Thai Yoga Massage, the practitioner guides the client through a series of yoga postures. In addition, the practitioner will palm and thumb along the body’s energy lines and pressure points. Together these actions result in a comprehensive full body treatment. This full body treatment relieves muscular tension, improves circulation, boosts the immune system and balances the body energetically.
What does each class involve?
In this 90 minute class you’ll start with brief chanting and meditation to feel more grounded. This will also help you calm the mind and bring awareness to the present moment. Through the class, Marek will guide you through a simple sequence which you can apply to your friends, partners etc. As a practitioner, Marek is very creative and able to improvise and tailor the class according to each group. Example sequences include those for lower back pain, shoulder mobility, knee pain, headaches or to promote relaxation. All equipment is provided and we advise wearing something comfortable and stretchy.
