Cosmo School of Thai Yoga Massage presents this well-structured diploma for therapists who want to improve their skills in working with postnatal mothers.
The methodology works on the understanding that the entire muscular skeletal system is connected to the internal organs of the abdomen and reproductive system.
The holistic approach of the training enables practitioners to work effectively in stages with a treatment program that embraces a longer term view regarding women’s health post pregnancy.
This diploma is 6 days in duration and taught in two 3 day modules. The first 3 day module addresses the impact that pregnancy and giving birth has upon the muscular skeletal system as a whole, then pelvic stability and alignment.
The second 3 day module works with the impact that pregnancy and giving birth has upon on the internal organs, reproductive system and abdominal core.

Yoga, Ayurveda & Holistic Health Course

Designed for yoga, movement and meditation teachers as well as practitioners eager to take their understanding deeper, this course dives into the fascinating and transformational world of yoga and Ayurveda, and how to use holistic wellbeing as a powerful tool to help both yourself and others.
Whether you want to teach your clients how to care for themselves by utilising natural Ayurvedic principles, lead workshops or classes inspired by holistic health, or simply enhance your own life by applying these inspiring and transformational practices to everyday living, this course will help you more deeply understand yourself and the world around you. Comprising of four modules over four months, you’ll really be living the practices, therefore able to fully integrate them and learn what works for you and the people you may want to help.
This course is limited to just 12 people, giving everyone the opportunity to get the absolute most out of it, to be fully supported, and to really form your own understanding of everything you learn. Module subjects include an overview of yoga and Ayurveda and why they’re so relevant today, living seasonally, working with clients and your own conditions, yoga and meditation practices, cooking and herbal health, mind-body medicine, and other practical and therapeutic techniques. You’ll also be given an in-depth manual with information and inspiration to keep.
Use this course to transform or enhance your life, or use it in order to become a more powerful teacher, healer and helper in the world. All modules take place in Sussex on various weekends, running from 10am-4pm each day, with an additional welcome circle. This course includes a full day retreat in experiential learning & Ayurvedic cooking.
Your Course Teacher:
Emma Newlyn is an experienced yoga teacher and teacher trainer, having lived with yoga and meditation for most of her life and trained with some of the most highly respected teachers in the field. Also a musician, cook and therapist, she infuses her passion and in-depth knowledge of holistic health, Ayurveda and yoga into every-day life, and helps others understand themselves in relation to the world around them.
As a prolific writer on health and wellbeing, Emma is constantly researching both the most forward-thinking and the most ancient of wellbeing systems, making them useful and inspiring in every-day life. After seeing how excited and passionate people become about empowering themselves with yoga and Ayurveda, she decided to create a course to share as much knowledge as possible with others, helping them make positive changes for themselves and clients.

• ONE: 1st 2nd 3rd November 2019: Welcome circle, introduction, Yoga, Ayurveda & Holistic Health, Seasonal Living, Ancient Wisdom For The Modern World, Identifying Wellbeing For Yourself & Others. Connecting To The Environment.
• TWO: December 7th 2019: Mantra, Meditation & The Magic Of Cooking, The Power of The Senses.
• THREE: January 18th + 19th 2020: Working With Specific Conditions, Seasonal & Circadian Yoga Practices, Breathwork, Movement & Stillness.
• FOUR: February 15th & 16th 2020: Putting It All Together. Graduation.
Cost: ** This equates to £70 per day of training, includes your in-depth manual and journal, snacks and tea each day, all food and drinks provided on the cooking module, course certificate, accreditation, self-development sessions (in person or via Skype), and on-going support.
